Cut Throat is an online card game operated by Evolve X Enterprise. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you play at playcutthroat.com.

What We Collect

We collect only what's needed to run the game. Nothing more.

• Google Account Info — your display name, email address, and profile photo when you sign in with Google. Used solely to identify your account and show your name in-game.
• Game Statistics — games played, games won, and plucks recorded. This powers your in-game profile stats.
• Session Cookies — strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. They expire after 30 days and cannot be read by third-party scripts.

Playing as a guest? No sign-in means no account, no data — nothing is stored about you.

What We Never Collect

How We Use Your Information

• Show your name and photo inside the game
• Track your game history and win stats
• Maintain your login session between visits
• Respond to support or account requests you initiate

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the game.

Google Sign-In

We use Google OAuth 2.0 for authentication. Signing in with Google means you're also subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We request only your basic profile scope — we have no access to Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or any other Google service.

You can revoke our access at any time through your Google Account settings.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secured servers. All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption. Session cookies are marked Secure and HttpOnly, preventing access by client-side scripts or third parties.

While we take reasonable and industry-standard precautions, no internet service can guarantee absolute security. By using the game, you acknowledge and accept this inherent risk.

Limitation of Liability

Cut Throat and Evolve X Enterprise are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the game, including but not limited to loss of data, service interruptions, or unauthorized access resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Your use of the game constitutes acceptance of these terms and this policy in full.

Children's Privacy

Cut Throat is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from this policy or your use of the game shall be resolved under applicable U.S. federal and state law.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the game grows — for example when multiplayer, advertising, or premium features are added. Material changes will be reflected in an updated "Last Updated" date at the top. Continued use of the game after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

European Union Users (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Lawful basis for processing: We process your personal data under the following legal bases:

• Contract performance — processing your Google account info and game stats is necessary to provide the game service you signed up for

• Consent — by choosing to sign in with Google, you consent to the collection described in this policy

Data retention: We retain your account information and game statistics for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days. Session cookies expire automatically after 30 days.

Data transfers: Your data is stored on servers in the United States. By using the game, you consent to the transfer of your data to the US, which may have different data protection laws than your country.

Your GDPR rights: In addition to the rights listed above, EU residents have the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority if you believe your data has been processed unlawfully.
