Who We Are

Cut Throat is an online card game operated by Evolve X Enterprise. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you play at playcutthroat.com.

What We Collect

We collect what's needed to run the game, keep it fair, and support it with ads.

• Account info (if you sign in) — with Google: your display name, email address and profile photo. With Apple: your Apple account identifier, your email (which may be an Apple private-relay address) and your name if you choose to share it. With Facebook: your name, profile photo, email address and an app-specific Facebook ID. We never see your Facebook password, friends, posts or anything else on your profile.
• Game data — games played and won, match history, plucks, chip balance and chip history, cosmetics you unlock or select, Founding 100 status, and referral codes. We also keep play-by-play game logs to improve the AI and fix bugs.
• Connection & device data (everyone, including guests) — your IP address, an approximate location derived from it (city and country only, never GPS), device and browser type, and whether the connection appears to come from a VPN. Raw connection logs are deleted after 30 days. We also store a random identifier on your device (no name, email or location attached) so we can count return visits and whether guests later sign in; we keep only a scrambled (hashed) version of it, along with the days the device was used.
• Things you send us — feedback messages, and automatic error reports (error details plus device/browser info) when something breaks in the app.
• Session cookie — keeps you signed in. It's Secure, HttpOnly and expires after 30 days.

Advertising

The iOS and Android apps show ads through Google AdMob: guests may see ads between games, and signed-in players can choose to watch an ad to earn free chips. AdMob may collect your IP address, device information and ad interactions to serve and measure ads. On iPhone, it only uses your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) if you allow tracking when iOS asks — change that anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, AdMob may use your device's advertising ID; you can reset it or delete it to turn off personalized ads anytime in Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads).

How We Use Your Information

• Run the game: show your name and avatar, match you with players, keep you signed in
• Track your stats, chips, unlocks, Founding 100 status and referral rewards
• Keep the game fair and secure: prevent cheating, spam and abuse
• Understand how the game is used and fix bugs
• Show ads in the iOS and Android apps, and respond to messages you send us

Who We Share It With

Only service providers that help run the game: Google, Apple and Meta (Facebook) for sign-in, Google AdMob (ads), our hosting provider, and an IP-lookup service used to find approximate location. Other players only see your display name, avatar, in-game stats and badges.

Sign-In Permissions

Google sign-in uses OAuth 2.0 with basic profile scope only — no access to Gmail, Drive, Calendar or any other Google service. Revoke access anytime in your Google Account settings. For Apple, use Settings → Apple ID → Sign in with Apple. Facebook Login asks only for your public profile (name and photo) and email; remove Cut Throat anytime in Facebook under Settings → Apps and Websites, which stops us receiving anything further from Facebook. Signing in also makes you subject to Google's, Apple's or Meta's privacy policy.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secured servers in the United States, and all connections use HTTPS/TLS. While we take reasonable, industry-standard precautions, no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Limitation of Liability

Cut Throat and Evolve X Enterprise are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the game, including but not limited to loss of data, service interruptions, or unauthorized access resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Your use of the game constitutes acceptance of these terms and this policy in full.

Children's Privacy

Cut Throat is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from this policy or your use of the game shall be resolved under applicable U.S. federal and state law.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the game grows. Material changes will be reflected in an updated "Last Updated" date at the top. Continued use of the game after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

European Union Users (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Lawful basis for processing: We process your personal data under the following legal bases:

• Contract performance — processing your account info and game data is necessary to provide the game
• Legitimate interests — security, preventing abuse, game integrity, and improving the game
• Consent — for personalized advertising (via the iOS tracking prompt, or your Android ad settings)

Data retention: We retain your account information and game statistics for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days. Session cookies expire automatically after 30 days.

Data transfers: Your data is stored on servers in the United States. By using the game, you consent to the transfer of your data to the US, which may have different data protection laws than your country.

Your GDPR rights: In addition to the rights listed above, EU residents have the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority if you believe your data has been processed unlawfully.

California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information.

Categories of personal information we collect:

• Identifiers — name, email address, Google/Apple/Facebook account ID, IP address, advertising ID (if you allow tracking)
• Internet activity — gameplay data, connection logs, ad interactions
• Geolocation — approximate location (city/country) derived from IP
• Profile data — games played, games won, chips, unlocks and in-game stats

Do Not Sell or Share: We do not sell your personal information. If you allow tracking in iOS, or keep your advertising ID on Android, Google AdMob may use it for personalized ads, which California law can treat as "sharing" — you can opt out anytime by denying tracking in iOS Settings, deleting your advertising ID in Android Settings, or emailing us.

Your CCPA rights:

• Right to Know — request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you
• Right to Delete — request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions
• Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any CCPA rights. Guest play is always available without an account.
• Right to Opt Out of Sale/Sharing — we don't sell data; to opt out of ad sharing, deny tracking in iOS Settings, delete your advertising ID in Android Settings, or email us
